Lighting the burners

For easier lighting, proceed before putting a pan on the pan

support.

Once the hob has been installed, it is important to remove any protective

materials, which were put on in the factory.

To light a burner:

 Push the electric ignition push button which is

marked by a little spark (

 At the same time turn the relevant control knob

anticlockwise to maximum position (

), then

push it down to ignite the burner.

 Upon ignition, keep the button pushed down

about

5 seconds. This will allow the

"thermocouple" (Fig. - letter D) to be heated

and the safety device to be switched off,

otherwise the gas supply would be interrupted.

 Check the flame is regular and adjust it as

required.

 To put the flame out, turn the knob to the

symbol “

”.

 If the burner does not ignite, turn the control

knob to zero, and try again.

 If you cannot light the flame even after several attempts, check the "cap"

(Fig. - lett. A) and the "crown" (Fig. - lett. B) are in the correct position.



Hob Burners Control Knobs

The hob burners control knobs are situated on

the hob lateral panel. The symbols on the knobs

mean that :

 there is no gas supply (OFF position)

there is maximum gas supply

there is minimum gas supply
