Make sure that there is a minimum distance of
55 mm between the rear cut out edge and the
wall.
The minimum distance of 100 mm must be left
between the side edges of the cut out and ad-

The minimum distance (in line) between the

above the hob is 400 mm. If the distance is
smaller, separate the flammable materials from
the edges of the hob by a minimum of 50 mm
Do not fit a cooker hood or combustible mate-
rial lower than 650 mm above the hob.
For appliances installed in the Republic of Ire-

Electrical connection
• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect
the appliance. Always pull the mains plug (if

not abided by.
Supply connections:
This hob has to be connected to 230 — 240 V
( 50 Hz) electricity supply.
The hob has a terminal block which is
marked as follows:
• L or 1 — Live terminal
• N or 4 — Neutral terminal
•
or E or 5 — Earth terminal
Before carrying out the connection, make sure:
1. The limiter valve and the electrical system
can take the appliance load (see the rating
plate)
2. The supply system is equipped with an ef-
ficient earth connection in compliance
with the current standards and regulations
3. The outlet or omnipolar switch used for
connection is easily accessible with the
appliance installed.
You must purchase and install the power ca-
ble. Use only a connection cable of type
H05V2V2-F T90 or its equivalent. Make sure
that the cable section is applicable to the volt-
age load and the working temperature.
The wires in the cord are coloured as follows:
Green and yellow - Earth
Blue - Neutral
Brown - Live
1. Remove the mains terminal cover plate
from the bottom side of the hob to uncov-
er the mains terminal block.
2. Loosen the two cable clamp screws and
lift the top side of the clamp so the cable
can go through it.
3. Connect the green and yellow (earth) wire
to the terminal which is marked with the
number 5 or the letter 'E', or the earth
symbol
, or coloured green and yellow.
(see Figure 1)
4. Connect the blue (neutral) wire to the ter-

ure 1)
5. Connect the brown (live) wire to the termi-
nal which is marked with the number 1,
the letter 'L'. It must always be connected
to the network phase. (see Figure 1)
